On The Scene March 15 There is early voting going on right now in your state and your local counties. If you are new to the state of Illinois the Election Authority is informative in directing you to the correct polling place. Do you want Donald Trump or Ted Cruz for your next president? What about Hilary Clinton or Bernie Sanders as your next president of the United States? Your voice and your choices are very important, so use it to cast your ballot. If there are any politicians who you don’t want in public service, now is the time to vote them out. The norm is to always be informed as an American tax payer. Kindly remind public officials who they work for! Yes, they work for you! Exercise isonomy in this 2016 Primary Election on March 15 (next Tuesday). Please vote! Don’t stay home! Police Accountability Task Force Chicago has created a passel of experts to aid the city in reducing police brutality and prevention of police shootings ending in death like the Laquan McDonald case. Their goal is to nurture trust between the black community and the police. The Police Accountability Task Force held several forums for residents of Chicago during the month of February to voice their concern. I hope you attended the forums if you live in Chicago. If you did not, shame on you. Your contribution to the cause is needed for the change. Feel Free to add your strategic feedback to the Police Accountability Task Force. Your participation is imperative in ensuring police officers and the civilians are safe. It is unfortunate that we hear all the negative imagery attached to police officers; nevertheless, we KNOW there are good cops still available and ready to serve us, all!
