CRUSHERS CLUB

I was listening to Chicago Speaks on V103 radio and learned about this superlative organization called the Crushers Club. I was so awestricken by Sally Hazelgrove (white woman) who was on the show talking about why she started the organization. She basically said the young people in the Englewood community needed her. She said she was called to do it by God. I knew she was a woman of God as I continued to listen to her convictions. Crushers Club is on a mission to snatch young men who would otherwise be in gangs by teaching them respect, discipline, ownership and the most important LOVE! Please support this organization. WALGREENS EXPRESSIONS CHALLENGE

Wait until you hear where I heard about the Walgreens Expressions Challenge; you guessed it, Chicago Speaks on V103 radio. Those of you who are sleeping on Chicago Speaks had better wake up. This piece of splendiferous difference was born to help reform young lives + minds to make healthier choices about their bodies. Disconcerting information about high school students (14-18) having an influx of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) as well as HIV and AIDS, motivated the Walgreens Expressions Challenge to do something about it. Stop saying people don't care in this big old world because hey, they really do! There are angels everywhere. The Expressions Challenge also gives away cash to young people by having them submit various ways to express themselves inventively. The deadline for that contest was on November 30, 2015; however, please keep this information for next year. Walgreens really rocks in having super angel-wings. MY LULA

This memorable lady is the inception of why I am so Sancti-Fly! Well, I can't deny Ms. Lula did it! She is one of my favorite "STRENGTH OF LEGEND" women, also known as my Lula (Abuela/Granny). I will be truly dedicating this month to her. Her birthday is in the month of December. We lost her earlier this year. She lived a long, good life! Please don't be too surprised if you notice me mentioning her in and out of different topics. I already told you I was going to do it! I miss her! If your grandparents are still here in the land of the living, why don't you call them up and tell them how much you love them. When it is done right, grandparents are legends.
