A Dip In The Sips of I Get...IT

I get that instead of always judging a situation first, maybe we should pray about it first. How about allowing the sounds of your consonant and vowels to come out second with encouragement. I understand, I get it! As human beings part of our mission in life will include overcoming some issues...if we want to. Maybe we can try our best to take a dip in the sips of another person's life.

I get why women and men are not attracted to nagging plus whining. Nagging and whining are forms of irritation which helps to push the person into a personal vacation away from you. It is not the best way to communicate. Maybe we can try our best to take a dip on a calmer approach to undo the ferhoodles of distress; communing in sips of peace only.

I get why kids love to dance and act silly every time life gives them that chance. Their hearts are pure. Their love is sure to leave a memorable impression as we learn the lessons they teach us. Maybe we can pay just a little more attention to the bright sun in our scholars that light up the lives of others. How about if we take a few more sips to allow them to be free, like kids should be. I get it!

I get how some people are really doing all they know how to do. Yes, you may know a little bit more but are you willing to share your knowledge or just look down on others? They say when you know better you will do better. I say it is a choice. I get it. Some people know better and do nothing. Some people learn at a slower pace than others. Some people are born a certain way and they cannot help how they look or the handicap given to them. Some people may have to go around a circle, climb a tree and jump a high fence before they learn their lesson. You on the other hand may have to just go around a circle once, and you get it that first time. Maybe we can try our very best to sip on some consideration.

What is it that you get? Do you allow understanding to slip by you with no evidence of empathy and sympathy attached to your humanity? As my Lula (grandmother) use to say, keep on living, you'll get it.
